Fine Gauge Cotton Knitwear

Made from the aptly named 'cloth of kings', we use only the finest grade of sea island cotton in the manufacture of these sweaters. When knitted, the long staple length of the fibre produces a light weight fabric which has a beautiful, clean finish and drape. The depth of colour is achieved by using yarn that has already been dyed giving the finished garments a luxurious sheen. The fineness of the gauge produces a fabric of quality, which gives the garments an inherent and iconic style that is completely unique to Pretty Green.

The classic, yet relaxed, fit is achieved through the 'fully fashioned' method of knitting the garments to shape. The garments are hand linked together, with fashioning marks at armhole, underarm, sleeve join and side seams. Each stitch is individually joined - a sign of true quality.
